Highway Home Page

Federal-aid highway programs form the backbone of COG/MPO transportation planning.  Administered by the Federal Highway Administration, the 97 highway programs authorized by SAFETEA-LU are worth an average of $39.9 billion per year.  

NARC has established an Funding and Finance Committee to focus on important emerging issues such as tolling, private financing, and highway trust fund revenues.  The Committee is chaired by Linda LaSut, Executive Director, Bryan/College Station (TX) MPO.  Send the chair an email if you have questions, comments, news, or materials to distribute.
