TELUS
TELUS National is a computerized information-management and decision-support system designed specifically for metropolitan planning organizations (MPOs) and state departments of transportation (SDOTs) to help these agencies meet the transportation planning and programming requirements of the Safe, Accountable, Flexible, Efficient Transportation Equity Act- a Legacy for Users (SAFETEA-LU).
Currently TELUS is available in two platforms. The desktop system and the Web-based system. Both the systems have similar functionality. The desktop system works well within a single agency, whereas the desktop system was designed for a multi-agency scenario. Neither system can replace the other and they were designed to be complimentary to each other.
