Elections

The NARC Annual Business Meeting and Elections were held on June 20, 2006. Judge John P. Thompson of Polk County took over the Presidency upon conclusion of Randall Morris' term.
 
Betty Knight, presiding commissioner of Platte County, Missouri was chosen as President-Elect, and Steve Cassano, First Selectman for the Town of Manchester, Connecticut was elected Sr. Vice President. Dee Freeman, Executive Director of Triangle J Council of Governments, is the new Vice President succeeding Tom Kane, now Immediate Past Chair of the Executive Directors Committee. 

We welcome five new Regional Representatives on the Board of Directors in David Danielson (Region 1), Jill Collins (Region 5), John Selph (Region 8), Ron Shaffer (Region 11) and Patti Kay Clapper (Region 13).

The Executive Directors Committee welcomes First Vice-Chair Jim Reed of the Central Texas Council of Governments and Second Vice-Chair Anthony Reams of Toledo Metropolitan Area Council of Governments.
