This workshop will discuss the ramifications of climate change in the United States. Panelists will focus on the topics of regional planning, transportation infrastructure, and the environment in relation to climate change and present ways Regional Councils and Metropolitan Planning Organizations can educate themselves about this topic. The workshop also will include concrete examples of how to reduce greenhouse gases in regional communities and offer participants a unique opportunity to interact with climate change experts.
