The National Association of Regional Councils (NARC) held the sixth in a series of workshops addressing integrating air quality and transportation planning in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on June 22, 2003. This workshop provided councils of government (COGs) and metropolitan planning organizations (MPOs) with useful tools and applications for data collection and modeling. In order to reach conformity, both are necessary components of a successful transportation and air quality planning program.
