Federal Resource Guide for Sustainable Rural Communities Released

The Partnership for Sustainable Communities, in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), published a guide outlining the federal programs available to support rural economic and community development. The guide, entitled Federal Resources for Sustainable Rural Communities, provides information on grant programs and other forms of assistance offered by USDA, the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the Department of Transportation (DOT) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to promote environmental sustainability, affordable housing, sound infrastructure, and economic and community development in rural areas.
