TELUS National is a computerized information-management and decision-support system designed specifically for metropolitan planning organizations (MPOs) and state Departments of Transportation to help these agencies meet the transportation planning and programming requirements of the Safe, Accountable, Flexible, Efficient Transportation Equity Act- a Legacy for Users (SAFETEA-LU).
Currently, TELUS is available in two platforms - the desktop system and the web-based system. Both systems have similar functionality, but the desktop system works well within a single agency and the desktop system was designed for a multi-agency scenario.
