Planner II - Transportation Planning
The Champaign County Regional Planning Commission, the largest Illinois regional planning agency outside of Chicago, is looking for a transportation planner to join a team of 14 professionals in a multifaceted program serving a wide variety of clients.
Job Requirements:

BA in urban planning or related field:
-
1-3 yrs experience in urban, land use, transportation or comprehensive planning as well as familiarity with multi-modal corridor planning

Understanding of the integrated land use – transportation connection

Willingness to work in a variety of areas such as GIS , bicycle and pedestrian planning, ITS, transit planning, public participation and transportation model development and applications

Knowledge of GIS and Photoshop

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Experience with an MPO is a plus
