Transportation Research - Planner
The Center for Urban Transportation Research (CUTR) at the University of South Florida (USF) in Tampa is seeking a Research Associate specializing in transportation planning. The selected candidate will participate in projects related to metropolitan and statewide transportation/land use policy and planning practice, access management, growth management, and related subjects.
Requires Master’s degree in planning or related field; 2 to 7 years of transportation and land use planning experience; and excellent writing, research, and presentation skills. Prefer AICP and familiarity with MPO process, transportation and land use policy, corridor planning, access management, and methods/practices related to Florida growth management laws.
Salary range $43,500 - $57,500, depending on qualifications. Outstanding benefits package includes health insurance, generous sick/annual leave and pension contribution, and more. CUTR is a multidisciplinary transportation research organization in the USF College of Engineering and houses the National Center for Transit Research and the National BRT Institute. In addition to its 45 full-time researchers, CUTR provides direct professional work experience to more than
