NARC Releases Regional Food Systems Case Study Report: Local Food in Oregon
NARC partnered with the Central Oregon Intergovernmental Council (COIC) to learn more about the food system in place in Bend, OR, which was designed to provide access to local food to an underserved, economically depressed regional population. COIC, the regional planning organization in Bend, plays a pivotal role in managing and administering the food system for the region, including studying, planning and implementation of the programs.
