On-Call Planning Support for Regional Transportation Plan Update
The Greater Nashville Regional Council (GNRC) is seeking proposals from firms and/or individuals capable of providing one or more planning services to assist with a major update to the regional transportation plan for the Nashville Area MPO.  GNRC intends to award a task-order based contract to one or more firms or vendors through this solicitation.  Offerors may respond to all or parts of the scope of services described in the RFQ.

Southern Nevada Strong Regional Plan Update

Pre-proposal Conference: May 29, 2024.

Proposal Due Date: June 26, 2024.

The selected proponent will develop a 2025 Southern Nevada Strong Regional Policy Plan Update (2025 Plan Update) for a twenty-five-year planning horizon.

The purpose of the 2025 Plan Update is to conduct a rigorous and inclusive planning process that, through data analysis, community engagement, and scenario planning, translates and revises the illustrative SNS vision map (see Appendix A) into an actionable, parcel-based vision for strategic future growth. The 2025 SNS Plan Update will identify an agreed upon composition of land uses and development goals that can accommodate forecasted population growth, climate resiliency goals, and maximize equity and quality of life for all Southern Nevadans.

The 2025 SNS Plan Update will accomplish the following goals:

1. Re-engage and educate the community at large in regional planning processes and decision making.

2. Highlight outcomes and trade-offs of various infrastructure and development decisions to improve data-based decision-making in the region, especially for regional decisions.

3. Establish a foundation to integrate land use and transportation planning in RTC and local agency plans and processes, such as the Regional Transportation Plan and local comprehensive plans and master plans.

Power District Transportation Study
The Wasatch Front Regional Council (WFRC) is soliciting Requests for Proposals (RFP) from qualified consultants to complete the Power District Transportation Study. The Power District Transportation Study is a technical planning study to inform decision-making for the redevelopment of a nearly 100-acre site situated near the Utah State Fairpark and Jordan River in Salt Lake City, Utah. The aim of this study is to evaluate the transportation opportunities and constraints and develop a plan that will support: 1)  A high quality of life for existing and future residents, employees, and visitors 2)  Attractive or livable places 3)  Availability of transportation choices 4)  Ease of movement and improved access to opportunities (e.g., events, commuting, neighborhood trips, etc.). Questions regarding the RFP deadline must be submitted by April 26, 2024 by noon MST, clarifications to the RFP posted by April 30, 2024 by noon MST, and the deadline is May 15, 2024 by noon MST.

On-Call RFQ for GIS Technical Services
The TBRPC is seeking qualified individuals and firms (consultants) to provide on-call consulting services for Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technical support services. The TBRPC will review qualifications and create a list of qualified on-call consultants. The TBRPC anticipates that all services will be on an as-needed or on-call basis. Mountainland Association of Governments: Metropolitan Planning Organization Organizational Assessment

The Mountainland Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) is soliciting proposals from qualified consultants to enhance its organizational effectiveness by conducting a comprehensive organizational assessment. This assessment aims to evaluate the alignment of our roles, responsibilities, staffing, program delivery, and structure with the evolving needs of our region and partners. The insights gained will enable us to optimize service delivery, ensure alignment with our mission, vision, and goals, and adhere to contemporary best practices in metropolitan planning. Notably, the MPO encompasses the urban Utah County area and hosts the Wasatch Back Rural Planning Organization (RPO) for Summit and Wasatch Counties. Questions regarding the RFP deadline must be submitted by April 8, 2024 by noon MST, clarifications to the RFP posted by April 11, 2024 by 6 PM MST, and the deadline is April 23, 2024 by noon MST.

COMPASS Carbon Reduction Strategy

COMPASS is seeking a qualified consultant to develop a regional carbon reduction strategy that aligns with the Federal Highway Administration’s (FHWA) Carbon Reduction Program (CRP). The primary goal of this project is to develop region-specific carbon reduction strategies and tactics that support the goals and objectives in the regional long-range transportation plan and can be implemented using FHWA CRP funds and other federal funding opportunities.

The Request For Proposal (RFP) includes the project description, scope of services and submittal instructions.  Appendix A, Sample Agreement is provided here as a separate document. Responses are due by 5:00 pm MST on Friday March 1,  2024.  No late submissions will be accepted.  Please see RFP document for complete details. RFP for Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission Redevelopment Master Plan

The Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission (MVRPC) issued a Request for Proposals seeking consultant support for the creation of a redevelopment master plan for the Turner Road Corridor in Harrison Township and City of Trotwood.

Proposals will be received by the Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission, 10 N. Ludlow Street, Suite 700, Dayton, Ohio 45402, until 4:00 p.m. EDT on February 16, 2024.
